I was decided on getting a mammogram last December but I specifically remember my doc saying I should get it when I'm 30.
I'm 29.5 right now.
And since a mammogram, as the radiologist told me, has radiation-related effects on the body, I decided to postpone it 'til I'm actually 30.
Anyway, that's not the point of this post.
Yesterday morning I received a text from my doctor's secretary reminding me that I'm due for another ultrasound. I didn't need reminding but I really appreciate the gesture. It's been around 6 months since my last check-up.
For them to make that extra effort of keeping track of everyone due for an ultrasound is definitely value-added service.

marami talagang mga doctors and people of the medical field ang mabait tulad ng doc mo.
ReplyDeleteand hanga rin ako sa yo because bihira sa girls ang nagsasabi ng edad. and i find no big deal din about it because age is just a number and also the bigger it is, the more wisdom and knowledge we gain. :)
Hey, thanks for dropping by at my blog! (curiousweekends.blogspot.com)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I love doctors calling in to remind us about our appointments! It helps me beat procrastination with regards to check ups. :)
Good luck on your tests!
Hope to hear again from you!
